Why comments are an integral/important part of blogs?
Because comments that people leave on your blog can lead to some very good constructive criticism that you can use to make yourself a better blogger and share better content.
What advice you would give for writing effective blog comments
I would say to leave comments that either say what the blogger is doing right or wrong. You can also write suggestions for the blogger.

TOW something that interests you
I just started a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sports club here at FGCU. I'm really excited about how fast it's growing and all the experienced people that are coming out and joining. Soon I will be putting together a competitive team to travel around the state and hopefully win a few grappling tournaments. We had a minor setback last week when our instructor dislocated his knee but he's still able to instruct verbally at practice. We also just got some really cool MMA fighting shorts for a few of the more serious members which look awesome. I'm putting a lot of time into this because it's something I'm really into and hopefully one day I can step back and see something worth being proud of.
History of PR
I found out that World War I played a big part in starting Public Relations. It was decided that if propaganda could be used for war, it could be used for peace. Propaganda had received a negative connotation because the Germans used it and that's when it was decided to use the term Public Relations. I thought that was really interesting that we might be in a class called propaganda if it wasn't for the fact that we considered almost everything German bad after World War I including the words they used.
